As we celebrate Mexico’s Independence today, I’m very happy to announce we also are celebrating our first anniversary with an I Love Mexico video contest.
Has it really been one year? Time flies when you’re having fun! A year ago we launched Expats In Mexico to bring you timely, truthful and trustworthy information, resources and tools to help make your life in Mexico the very best it can be.
To celebrate our anniversary, we’re bringing your our first-ever I Love Mexico video contest. Expats living in Mexico, aspiring expats who want to make Mexico their home or people who love visiting Mexico are all invited to register for the contest. Just click here to go to the registration form:
We know that the over 1 million expats who already live in Mexico and the many others who are considering or planning a move to this wonderful country, or visit it regularly, love Mexico. But there are many reasons to love Mexico: History, culture, music, food, climate, beaches, cost of living and on and on.
We would like you to tell us in a 3-minute or less video why you love Mexico. There are no creative guidelines, so the only thing limiting you is your imagination. If you have a smart phone with video capability, you’re in business!
Once you upload your video to your YouTube channel and include the hashtag #ILoveMexico in the Comments box of your uploaded video page, we’ll import it into our I Love Mexico playlist on our YouTube channel. Everyone will have a chance to see what others are submitting during the contest.
The winner of the I Love Mexico video contest will win a $300 Amazon gift certificate. The second place winner will receive an Amazon $200 gift certificate and third place will receive a $100 Amazon gift certificate.
The contest begins today, September 16th and ends at 11:59 p.m. October 15th. We’ll then spend the next two weeks judging all of the entries and announce the winners on November 1 on our website and our social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
In addition to the Amazon gift certificates for the winners, we’ll also profile all of the winners in this blog and write an article on the winner of the grand prize.
