Happy New Year to our readers around the world, both expats living in Mexico and aspiring expats from many different countries who are considering making this wonderful country your home.
I’m very pleased to say that you have warmly received Expats In Mexico since our debut on September 16, 2016. Since that time, we have added nearly 90 articles on a variety of subjects of interest to you and over 350 blogs from our 12 expat bloggers who represent a wide range of expat locations in Mexico.
In just the past year, almost 11,000 more of you have joined our family of readers and many have commented on the articles and blogs that have interested you the most. We also have over 3,500 dedicated viewers of our YouTube channel, which displays our 32 video interviews with expats. And over 3,300 of you have joined us on Facebook to follow the latest from EIM.
So, what’s in store for 2019? More articles that profile the stories of expats living in Mexico who share what life is like living in their hometowns scattered throughout Mexico. More articles that feature entrepreneurs who have started successful businesses in Mexico and offer tips on how to get started. More articles on aspiring expats who have decided to make the move to Mexico and share their experiences. More edited video interviews from all of our articles.
We’ll also be adding several new places to our Cities section, where we currently profile 10 expat centers from climate to lifestyle to history and more. This year we will be adding Oaxaca and Querétaro, which came out on top in our December Monthly Expat Poll as cities you would like to see added.
And to help us develop even more and better content for you, we will be launching our Expats In Mexico Survey 2019 next week. This survey, unlike our two previous surveys, will be focused on just those aspiring expats who are considering moving to Mexico. After two surveys among expats living in Mexico, we think we have a pretty good idea of your needs and wants. Stay tuned for more information on how to participate if you do not currently live in Mexico.
