Heading to the beach at Pueblo Magico Sayulita, in Nayarit. This photo represents everything I love about Mexico: citizens with a big heart shown by the charities signs under the form of hearts hung on the palm trees, the beauty of the small villages, peacefulness, families enjoying some quality time together, a wonderful climate and a very colorful country.

An original photo of stacked serapes for sale in Ajijic was software-manipulated into this kaleidoscopic representation, which illustrates that we are all different (colors) but live adjacent to each other in harmony and live collectively and under the power of one unifying force.

My love for Mexico is, unequivocally because of the people. The sense of community, family and love from the people is unmatchable. The attached picture captures so much fun and love while cooking a meal in the home of a family in Maxcanú. My husband and I plan to retire in the Yucatán and can’t wait to be a part of it!
